Hi,

I am a curator and cultural producer based in Berlin and the co-managing director of Error 417 Expectation Failed, an independent foundation that supports contemporary Internet art. Since 2020, I have been regularly curating at panke.gallery, an exhibition space for net-based arts, and have also co-founded the project space /rosa in Berlin. I am interested in art that explores the conditions of contemporary networked technologies. I love creating spaces where people can be online together, share their experiences and have conversations around critical and socially engaged net-based art. My background is in Cultural Sciences, with a Master’s degree from Leuphana University focused on the Culture and Aesthetics of Digital Media.

Currently, I am co-curating a solo show by Olia Lialina at panke.gallery together with Sakrowski. The show Network Portraits, opens on September 10th and stays open until October 3rd of 2026. For the exhibition, Olia has created network diagrams for the distributed works on view, tracing the living constellations through which the works exist. The diagrams map the artists who host parts of a work, the redirects connecting one location to another and the platforms, software and relationships through which the works continue to circulate. At a moment shaped by narratives of a “dead internet”, renewed interest in the vernacular web, and a growing search for forms of online culture beyond dominant platforms, Network Portraits insists on the web as a living, social, and distributed space.

I am also co-curating the event "I Miss the Internet" together with Sam Mercer on September 17th 2026 at The Photographers' Gallery in London. A collaboration between Error 417 Expectation Failed and The Photographers' Gallery, "I Miss the Internet" is a day of workshops, talks and performances that explore how internet memory, nostalgia and platform power shape our understanding of the web past, present and future. ongoing projects

Together with Tommaso Cappelletti I have started The Dead Link Club, an event format and ongoing research club where we explore internet histories together. Through dead link autopsies, we examine the concrete conditions that lead to online deaths: what economic, political and technological contexts make platforms and services come to die? What communities do they leave behind, what do they transform into and what disappears with them? We are looking for people who want to host sessions together, so contact us :)

Furthermore, I am supporting the artist group !Mediengruppe Bitnik and Kunsthalle Osnabrück's collaborative artistic research project School of Cow Comfort which intervenes into the space of data-based technologies and agriculture.

recently

This summer, I was on a panel about lore, online communities and the Dark Forest Theory of the Internet together with Anan Fries, curated by Anna Lena Panter for a cooperation between transmediale and Tropez in Berlin.

Earlier this year I co-curated the group exhibition From the Ashes of the Burnout Machines, featuring artists such as Sam Lavigne, Mario Santamaria, Marco Donnarumma and S()fia Braga for AMRO 2026, Art Meets Radical Openness, a festival dedicated to art, hacktivism and open cultures in Linz, Austria. In the exhibition, we use "burnout" as a diagnostic lens through which to understand the contemporary moment: a state produced by regimes of extraction, acceleration and exhaustion that operate simultaneously on bodies, environments and technological systems.

And, with Error 417, we published an open call for projects for which I have written an essay on Netstalgia Not Acceptable – The Internet We Want.
